Digital story telling is a way we can express ourselves through technology. We are able to tell a story through pictures, music and narration. As a teacher I would use it help exemplify a certain subject that my students are necessarily interested in. I would even want my students to build/make their own digital stories.
I would like all you to look up these websites and explore so you know more about digital story telling.
www.storycenter.org/
www.digitalstory.org/
www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/learnshops/digital/examples.php
After watching the video and looking at the websites I would like you to create your own digital story and here are steps to follow.
1. Write out storyboard and script.
2. Select images you would like to use for your digital story.
3. Select audio you would like to use for your digital story.
4. Select content and text you would like to use for your digital story.
5.Open Photo Story 3.
6.Import images into Photo Story 3.
7. Add titles, text, and/or information to your pictures (remember in using text less is more)if needed.
8.Change the effects of the pictures.

the video clip will help you know how to make a digital story and why
